Today we completed the Spool Bracket Design project. After completing the project, do you feel that your design meets the requirements of the design criteria and how do you feel you performed overall with the project?
Assembly mates:
the shapes and direction make no sense it seems like i have not been working on solid-works for weeks. it seems very confusing there are so many different windows or different tabs to open it so confusing i was stuck on one thing for so long i thought it would be easier since the shapes are already created for you but nope it was something brand new. Mates create geometric relationships, such as coincident, perpendicular, tangent, and so on. Each mate is valid for specific combinations of geometry. Bottom Housing project:
the housing project are much easier then the Assembly mates. it was much easier to figure out what steps to take. there are so many different ways to get to the same destination with solid works.
